When we post videos of stuff that is wrong it is hilarious regarding the comments/stupid ones from people mostly men who think they actually know what they are talking about. Now some do know there stuff but out of 500 comments it is useally two or three that get it right. The ones that are wrong in their comments are the ones who have always been doing it wrong, which is why home inspections were invented in my eyes

Untrained or inexperienced contractors (and even some flippers) might get defensive because a thorough home inspection exposes poor workmanship, code violations, and shortcuts they hoped would go unnoticed.

- Lack of Code Knowledge – Many unlicensed or untrained contractors don’t fully understand local building codes and best practices.
- Profit-Driven Frustration – Some flippers and contractors cut corners to save money, and when an inspector points it out, it can delay or derail a sale.
- Misinformation – Some commenters simply don’t know what a home inspector’s job entails and assume they are nitpicking.
- Social Media Ego – On platforms like Facebook and TikTok, people love to sound like experts, even when they aren’t.
A good home inspector isn’t there to make friends with flippers or contractors; they’re there to protect buyers from costly mistakes
